About Kathy Marfin's Dance School In 1979, Kathy Marfin's Dance School opened its doors in San Antonio. For over 40 years, we have been giving children a fun, safe, and professional classroom to discover the love and art of Dance. At KMDS, dancers participate in a friendly and encouraging atmosphere where they can freely express themselves through movement. We provide a beginner, intermediate, and advanced curriculum for the recreational dancer and the pre-professional dancer. Offering programs for ages 2 – Adult, we teach Ballet, Pointe, Tap, Jazz, Modern, Hip-hop, Tumbling, and Social Dance.
