My wife has been a busy mom of our four children for twenty-five years. She has two sons who are in high school, one with Aspergers Syndrome at an early age and the other with classical Autism. I discovered that my daughter has Autism in the year 2022. This has brought an entirely different insight into Autism and the importance of diagnosis. This amazing journey has allowed me to find a way to assist others as I have been able to help myself over the years. This is what I have been seeking to get all over this time. I have worked in a parenting program in two local non-profits. As Outreach Coordinator (2013-2017), I helped the parents and the surrounding community get in touch with the resources they require to help their children or young people. I am also the Director of Parenting Programmes in my current job where I can create Advocacy Training Programs for Parents that are curriculum-based and manage a staff to implement this curriculum. This is what that may make me to stand out as a Consultant or Advocate in the field. These grant-funded programs that I managed may allow me to create a tracking system for the growth and effectiveness of Advocacy services our children were getting. I have been advocating for families and children for over twenty years. In the last five years in a San Antonio non-profit, I supervised two parenting programs as a senior leader which I secured $ 75,000 Foundational funding every year from both local and federal grants. I was also in charge of 600 children each year. I also assaigned cases to my Advocacy team to reduce my caseload. I also advocated for children and families through the Family Court System. These are the people who are referred to me through the Juvenile justice System. I have also worked with students from kindergarten to 22 years old in the local schools. Part of my duties was to serve the students with disabilities.
