Reliable Viking Archery is a family-owned and operated company founded by Tim Whiteford and Lannie Whiteford in 1963. Our headquarters are located in the Texas Hill Country, where the Whitefords and sons Kevin and Scott run Texas's only Archery-only facility. It is the Archery Lane Operators Association (ALOA) approved facility in Texas. Regardless of your level or style, archers can benefit from our enthusiasm and experience. In addition to selling, we have many years of technical and design experience. We design and produce bows and arrows, stabilizers, release aids, string changers, and bows. Several patents have been granted on archery-related designs. Viking Compound Bows has been manufacturing bows for over 40 years. Viking Archery understands the mechanics of archery. Archery is our sport as well as a business. The JOAD junior Olympic Course is run weekly by USA Archery Level 4 Instructors who help beginners learn the basics. Over 10,000 people have been trained using this program. We are members of the Pope & Young Club and are listed on the official Pope & Young Club records. We have received Sectional, National, National and World archery awards. Viking Archery sponsors shooting teams from the international and national levels. Bow Hunter, Field Archery, and 3D Archery are all available sports. Viking Archery is located in the hills of Texas, a beautiful place for archers of all types to come and practice. Our facility contains an indoor and outdoor range with flat targets and 3D. North American bow hunters invited us to host the Texas Bow Hunter Jamboree, and we have hosted many state championships.
