The lawyer was incredibly disrespectful. He was exceptionally rude and argumentative. I cannot believe this guy is even a lawyer. I was asked why I did not make a court date that was scheduled and, because I was working, I did not know about it. He replied smartly that if he knew as a lawyer when a court date was coming up that he would take the time off work to go. He also did not listen to me that I was unaware of the court date, and I have to work. This lawyer was unprofessional; he sounded like an uneducated little boy. I suggest everyone stay away from this law office and, this comes from a 9-year vet and a former law enforcement officer. He did not even bother to give me his name when requested since it was a consultation. He wanted to represent me; absolutely not. I need a professional attorney. He did not give his name at all. Because I called him out for being rude and unprofessional. Avoid using this law office at all costs. It was terrible. This law office collected all the information. It just wanted to argue; this attorney's attitude suggested that he is only in it for a paycheck and that is all. Everything he said about my case it seemed like he was not going to fight for me, so I knew it would be a waste of my money by that point. He never advised me about my rights or asking for temp driving privileges and that I was going to get 90 days of suspension. Why would I pay 3000 just for someone to show up and not fight. Needless to say I lost $1000 down to them. He might be a good divorce attorney, but don't expect him to fight for you on other types of cases. 13. Mr. Poet was very helpful and knowledgeable.
