The Law Office Of J.R. Vicha J.R. Vicha was born in Waco, TX, and attended Axtell High School. Preceding twenty years, he was the valedictorian of his class from Sam Houston State University, graduating in 2000 with a bachelor of science degree in criminal justice. Fewer than a handful achieved this distinction. He majored in criminal justice. Following his graduation in 2000, he served as a McLennan county probation officer for one year. In 2004, Mr. Vicha obtained his juris doctor from Baylor Law School. During law school, he was accepted to the Baylor Law Review. Only 15 students were selected for this post, and he was fortunate enough to be included among them. He was the League's Executive Editor and then Editor-in-Chief. From 2004 to 2006, J.R. worked for the Brazos River Authority. His duties included a wide range of practices, including water rights, contract, real estate and oil and gas law. In 2006, the former District Attorney, John Segrest, hired him. Mr. Segrest used him to handle felonies and misdemeanors. J.R. was selected as Chief Felony prosecutor for Waco's 19th District Court in 2011, when then-District Attorney Abel Reyna took office. He held this role until 2014, when he left the district attorney's office.

JR Vicha has strong legal, communication, and client services skills. His clients spoke very positively about their case dismissals, quick response times, reasonable pricing, and support during a difficult period. Their feedback highlights his professionalism, understanding, and ability to deliver satisfactory outcomes. Not spending time at court was a significant concern for many clients, which JR alleviated. JR's clients are continuously pleased with the service, so all of them are pleased to recommend him to other people.
