Customer Comments: 01/05/2020 - They would give 0 stars if it were an option. The following text was sent to JEL via email and no response provided. No question answered. My first call to the law office was to inquire on my Warrant status with the court (Wichita Falls Municipal) if they had filed a case or if the court had issued a warrant. How could a simple speeding ticket end up getting me a warrant out? I had not heard from Jeff Eaves Law since I paid $300 on July 1st. I was traveling through, not a resident; hence they considered me not part of the community. They said they were dealing with a murder case in Wichita Falls and got angry when I called them to ask about the progress on my arrest warrant. Oscar Taylor told me to send him more evidence or call the office. I didn't choose to deal with the court myself but had to call the court. I was issued a letter in 10 days threatening a warrant if not paid. I sent an email to Jeff Eaves Law to seek their help and requested not to be contacted by Oscar. In response, Oscar sent a refund and told me to handle the case myself. He used a friendly tone this time. I got worried that I had a warrant, and Oscar was blaming me. I have 2 days to work with the court to “fix” the issue and avoid a warrant. The $300 refund was not yet in my account, but he sent a message claiming the refund would be in my account on October 2nd, so I assume it could be a bank processing delay after I sent an email asking if the refund had been processed. The email was sent on September 5th, and no response was received. I sent the following email this day to ask if anything had been done.
