David Ericson Fine Art, specializing in Utah sculpture and painting, was founded in October 1978. The first form of David Ericson's Fine Art was Gallery 56 on 400 South and 56 West in downtown Salt Lake City. Vern Swanson wrote that David Ericson had the most substantial sales gallery in Utah for early Utah art by the 1980s. His gallery has been called a "Grand Central Station" for pioneer painters and high-quality art. David thinks it is essential to build a collection by selecting art you love.
