Since 1946, Pariser Dermatology Specialists in Dermatology has served the patients of Norfolk, Virginia Beach, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News, and Williamsburg. Pariser Dermatology Specialists began with the aspiration and dedication of its founders. The practice's founder had to delay his plans to become an ophthalmologist because of WWII. He had to retake his pre-med classes and work as a carpenter to pay for his tuition. His other eye doctor gave up his dream of becoming a doctor and repaired watches. The practice was very successful for many years, specializing in skin cancer treatment, but it was soon discovered that not all types of skin cancer are created equal. Additionally, light therapy and cosmetic dermatology, as well as Mohs Surgery and much more, have been added to Pariser Dermatology Specialists' services as the practice expanded from one to six locations. Our board-certified dermatologists are ready to help you with many skin concerns and conditions under one roof, saving time and improving the overall patient experience. Our patients receive the best care because we work with Virginia Clinical Research (VCR), an affiliation that gives us access to the latest medical advances and treatments. Our highly experienced physicians are also medical educators who train and mentor students, residents, and interns at the Eastern Virginia Medical School. We keep our practice current on medical advances and technology. This includes introducing an electronic record system and a secure patient portal where patients can communicate with staff and doctors.
