G&HA (Glave & Holmes Architecture) incorporated as a women-owned firm in Richmond in 1965 and is a nationally recognized architecture, planning, and interior design firm. Over 50 interior designers, historic preservationists, and support staff now compose the firm. Nearly 60 of our architects, interior designers, historic preservationists, and support staff have a wide portfolio. This portfolio demonstrates the expertise of the staff in many sectors, including higher education, cultural, civic, hospitality, residential, and other sectors. We seek to meet clients' needs for new or renovated buildings. Design solutions that are inspired by local culture, history, and environment and address the needs of the entire community are essential to our design philosophy. Through a collaborative design process, we generate architectural and planning concepts.
