We were in desperate need of an excellent criminal attorney for my son. He is a college student in Richmond, VA and got himself into criminal difficulty for the first time. We did not have any first hand experience up close and personal with the criminal justice system so it was very overwhelming all around. Was not happy with his lack of communication and inability to reach him directly- always an assistant who at times seemed bothered with our questions and need for updates. Then we found Tom. He was very accessible- answered our initial call on a Saturday and spoke at length. He was thorough and direct. He was up front that he was not sure he could get the case dismissed but he would try. He took on the case in Richmond as well as a related separate case where we live.
