Difficult to reach, laughed and joked with the commonwealth attorney. I couldn’t allow any of my evidence to be shown in court so it was one way to jail. It was self-defense that a person assaulted me then pulled a gun on me. Body cam, ring cam but my own attorney wouldn’t show. Review Rating 5/5 Stars: they are awesome. highly recommend them. Review Rating 1/5 Stars: Hired this attorney to support me in a trespassing at a hospital case involving police brutality. Ben Sharpe worked for the court and the officer involved. He never met with me, barely responded to any questions or concerns before court, never acted like he was protecting me in any form. Upon court he told me that I was not being charged as a criminal and nothing would be on my record. However immediately after court I've been denied employment from multiple employees due to have a trespassing charge. I asked Ben Sharpe what could be done about the police brutality in which his reply was nothing. "The officer could kill me for no reason and because of qualified immunity the officer would get away with it. " I also asked if he could help me in another legal matter, involving getting a copy of my grandfather's will and his response was I would be killed before I got a copy of it. How would he know. He clearly works to protect the courts and the police departments and does not protect his clients. Would not recommend! Update... Upon finding the review I left. Ben Sharpe decided to call me to argue about what he did and did not say. Very unprofessional. Even after telling him I wasn't arguing about what he did or didn't say. He continued to try to fight about it. He also tried to tell me that he didn't handle cases dealing with police brutality. Well why didn't he tell me that when I hired him. I told him it was also dealing with police brutality. If he didn't handl those types of cases I would have never hired him. I had a witness standing beside me when he called me. Again I wouldn't recommend. Highly unprofessional.
