I had so many questions and honestly didn’t even know where to begin. Hiring Anthony Segura at Strickland, Diviney & Segura made the entire process so much easier. Mr. Segura took the hassle out of everything. He explained every step of the process clearly, helped me understand what needed to be done, and was always quick to respond to my emails and calls. If you are dealing with a car accident or personal injury case, having a lawyer who communicates and guides you through the process makes all the difference. What meant the most was that he genuinely cared about how I was doing and checked on my recovery after the accident. Initial meeting gave me hope I had a case and might expect compensation. I held my breath and waited for almost 8 months for some kind of action, and inquired just once or twice about the status. I did not receive updates or much interest. Finally, after almost 8 months of hopeful waiting they call me to say a (very small, very recent) study determined that the negligence I experienced (and subsequent disability) was likely not a factor in outcome, and legally did not contribute to the poor result and the lifelong, life-changing injury that resulted. Although this may be the case in actuality, waiting 8 months to be told a simple bit of information that might have been known in 5 minutes is inexcusable. I was neglected by the medical team and this law office. Trust no one. 4. I highly recommend the Law Offices of Strickland, Deviney & Segura to help with any legal issues you may have! I am from Southeastern PA and I was cited for speeding over 10 mph the speed limit. I got in contact with Correy Diviney and he was extremely friendly, thorough with his questions, told me what I needed to do (since I was out of state) and would have to come back to Botecourt, VA for my summons/hearing. Correy was very available via email and was always quick to get back to me. When he met me at the courthouse, he put me at ease and we made sure everything we discussed to have ready for the judge was set. Due to Correy's expertise, I was given a minimum fine, had to do 15 hours community service, and had to keep a clean driving record for 1 year, which all documentation had to be sent to the judge, clerk, and Correy. Everything was taken care of without me having to go back down to Botecourt, VA. What started off as a very stressful situation turned out to be a positive lesson in to slow down, I got work with a tremendous non-profit up my way, which I will continue to help out at, and got to meet Correy and experience his excellent service!
