Client Testimonials
Joseph explained the process really well, constantly updated me, and went toe to toe with the insurer, earning a settlement that was light years better than I ever could have done on my own. If you want a lawyer who gives a damn and gets results, look no further. It feels like cheating to give a 5-star review for a 100-star professional.
I have been a legal professional for 40 years [now retired]. I started my career in the Midwest as a courthouse reporter, then moved to Washington, D.C. as a paralegal, and then “slowed down” with the birth of my children and became a litigation paralegal in Northern VA. I was no stranger to personal injury/liability lawsuits – until I became a Plaintiff myself. What a humiliating experience it was. I was in pain, overwhelmed with emotion and anxiety, and as far from objective as one could be.
I knew several attorneys in the Northern VA area from my professional contacts, but I had no previous encounters with Mr. Gladstone. I reached out to multiple law firms in Fairfax and Prince William counties on a Sunday afternoon, looking for the “right” one. Brandon called me less than 20 minutes after my email, and I was shocked at the rapid response time, especially on a Sunday, which is outside the norm for a successful senior partner in a litigation firm in Northern Va.
From the first time he spoke to me, Brandon was informative, kind, compassionate, personable, honest, easy to talk to, and all the things that are not usually associated with litigators. His fee was more than reasonable, and I signed the retainer agreement.
At first, I tried to micromanage Brandon and my lawsuit. My profession made me feel the need to keep control, even though I was illogical and far from objective. Brandon gently but firmly told me that micromanaging wasn’t going to work in the relationship. Somehow, I knew he was right in some way, and I let him drive. Thank goodness!
I cannot say enough positive adjectives to describe how he handled my lawsuit. He responded to texts and emails quickly - sometimes within minutes but never more than a few hours. He called after every step in the case to discuss it and never rushed the conversation or made me feel like I wasn’t the most important client [despite the fact that my case was not a big one in personal injury work]. He fought hard for me and never backed down. He listened with kindness, respect, and empathy. But most importantly, HE HEARD ME. He told my story in his pleadings as if he was the victim.
A few weeks before trial, Brandon was able to negotiate a settlement, which I approved, and I was so relieved not to have to go to trial.
I am forever grateful to Brandon for his trust in me, his respect, his compassion, and his extraordinary professionalism when I was trying to deal with two of the hardest years of my life. Thank you, Brandon, from the bottom of my heart.
And a HUGE thank you to William Bang, a terrific attorney who helped Brandon with my case. You’re awesome, sir!
