I paid her more than $10,000 and followed her advice — even refusing a court-ordered hair follicle test based on her and her assistant’s written direction. She later claimed she “absolutely never said that” to justify her withdrawal from my case. Her decision had a significant detrimental effect on my custody situation. I am a teacher who works with children every day, and the only thing I did wrong was being prescribed marijuana by a doctor for PTSD. After her contradictory and negligent treatment of my case, I was left with only one hour of phone visitation with my children per week. I have lodged a formal complaint with the Washington State Bar Association about her inappropriate behavior and lack of accountability. I think that Ms. Bliss is incompetent, oblivious, and solely concerned with separating herself from accountability than fighting for her clients. If you want a lawyer who stands by her advice and assists you through tough times, I suggest you look for another one. 2.
