Late 2025 marked my engagement of Campbell Barnett PLLC to ready and update our Wills with my spouse, also get my wife’s Will prepared, and add some estate planning documentation (POAs and Health directives) for both my bride and me. The firm had represented me in one unrelated matter, and I had satisfaction with the attorney who handled that case, so I went ahead to schedule an appointment. When I called, I was directed to the estate planning department, and I had a chat with Madeline Miller and her assistant, Kayla Smith. Ms. Miller provided us with a questionnaire that helped us narrow down the items we needed to update to our Wills, then booked an appointment to walk us through the questionnaire answers and our questions and any advice Ms. Miller had. We had many questions, and Miller was kind, patient, and knowledgeable; she did not mind repeating explanations for us, and she gave us some of the scenarios where each document might come in handy. She was excellent at that, and I appreciated the time she dedicated to us to understand everything since estate planning can be complicated. After she gathered all we needed to update, she sent a draft of the Will within a few days, we reviewed it, and made some changes and she updated that and had us come back to the office for a final review and signing.
