Client Feedback Overview 1. What a great trial experience I had with Chi. She was professional, responsive, and supportive from the onset. Handling my family law trial, hers was a high-conflict case, Chi strategically handled it calmly. She documented all the issues logically and professionally, which made my case come out on top. Chi’s communication was clear and consistent, and she was always available to answer my questions and concerns. Every step was well laid down, and I felt secure having Chi handle my case. I would highly recommend her to anyone seeking a professional family law attorney. 2. My overall experience with Attorney Chi Nguyen was grotesque. Found her on Yelp in July 2025 with superb reviews. Hired her for my parenting plan issues after an initial consultation on July 4 (not the protection order, though she gave advice). What followed was an unprofessional experience ever. Main problems: • Never appeared in court – It was always via Zoom. We paid the same as everyone else yet no physical attendance. • Unprofessional appearance – On Zoom, she dressed in casual T-shirts which sounded informal for court representation. • Paralegal overseas – Our case’s paralegal assignment was given to Bernard, who was working with their offices abroad. This made direct communication about our case challenging. • Bad legal counsel and dishonesty – She advised my child to cancel the protection order to “help with” 50/50 parenting, then denied this advice in court. This damaged our case. • Unprepared – Judge was visibly frustrated by her lack of preparation and knowing what the required next steps. • Communication – We were informed to check the client portal (notifications) only to receive emails with the critical information. This caused us to miss poor deadlines and hearings. Documents were also submitted incorrectly and late, leading to delays, sanctions, and extra costs we had to pay ($700). • Recent failure – for a GAL hearing, we sent her some financial documents in late August, which were submitted at the last minute. Failure to consult which GAL was to handle our case left us blindsided in court. Unprofessional conduct. If you are considering her services, look elsewhere. 3. Great experience working with Chi. Excellent communication, and thoroughness throughout my case. Each conversation provided clarity and reassurance; all questions were addressed promptly. I truly felt supported throughout the entire process. Thank you again for everything! 4. Chi you are the most amazing and professional attorney I ever meet in my life. Thank you for your hard work!!! 5. Stay far away from this unprofessional lawyer. She represented me in the Renton Municipal Court and she asked the court for an extension on the day of the hearing because she had not studied the case. This lawyer just wants your money and will never do a good job of legally representing you.
