In my professional opinion, Attorney Craig Walker is not a practical lawyer and who will not objectively do the right things for his clients. My grandfather and grandmother were his first ever clients, they both recently passed away with a very simple estate. However, Mr. Walker did not have their home placed in trust which triggered a probate proceeding that was largely unnecessary. If this is how Mr. Walker treats his oldest and most loyal clients of 50 years, I cannot in good faith recommend his services to anyone. There are plenty of good attorneys out there to choose from. His mistake came across as brazen when asked about his failure to effectively avoid probate. Unfortunately, many "estate planning" attorney's are actually "probate planning" attorneys as they seek to place their clients in probate to earn more fees than would be owed without going to probate. Mr. Walker, in my professional opinion as a future tax and estate planning attorney, you did Gayle and Ruth a disservice and you should be ashamed of yourself. 4. Called to set up a consultation, told it would take 2 days to hear back. Which is a great turnaround time if you ask me. Even then I received a call within the hour for more information regarding my question. Which I thought was even better! Jillian Harlington was super helpful and answered all of my questions.
