A Positive Alternative

A Positive Alternative was established in 1990 and offers a fresh and contemporary way to tackle drug and alcohol problems. Our State-certified Outpatient program is open to men and women. Two programs are being provided. Our treatment program emphasizes problem-solving and alternative thinking over addiction. Our exclusive program uses tried-and-true skills and tools to combat addictive behaviors. We recognize that everyone is distinctive, and we adjust treatments to meet their specific needs. These therapists are all Master's-level and have decades of experience dealing with alcohol addiction and mental illness. Our team members have testified and acknowledged their problems and have committed to developing their skills and knowledge. We are all self-driven people who did not demand court or legal supervision for their recovery. Each member of our group has been through extensive screening to ensure their honesty and dedication. Our Women's Recovery Program offers intensive outpatient treatment. We can work with you to improve your life and make it easier to stay drug- or alcohol-free. Our unique perspective is good, and we focus on treatment and recovery. There is no need to go to a 12-step meeting or attend an AA meeting if you are having doubts or a financial hardship. Many of our clients have attempted to quit on their own. They assume it will be easy if they genuinely try and mean it. We can help if you feel alone or isolated in your struggle.
