About Dr. Angela Rawlings Dr. Angela Rawlings hails from Louisville, Ky, and is a recent Seattle transplant. She obtained her Bachelors and Doctorate in Agriculture from Murray State University. Following graduation, she practiced veterinary medicine in Spartanburg. However, she later moved to Charleston, SC, where she honed her craft in small-animal medicine and surgery. Most recently, Angela became certified in rehabilitation therapy. She is excited to share this knowledge with Capitol Hill's elderly pets to ensure their health and longevity. Spencer, her 9-year-old scaredy-cat, will be making the trip across the country. She hopes to receive further training in circus arts and explore the hiking trails surrounding her new home in Washington. Angela loves fresh food and plans to experiment with new dishes sourced from local farmers' markets in her kitchen. Dr. Jessica Van Noppen's Early Life Story Dr. Jessica Van Noppen graduated from Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine. Her great uncle's stories of being a mixed-animal veterinarian inspired her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Jessica loves small-animal general practice and building relationships with clients to ensure long-term preventive care. While in veterinary school, she adopted her first dog, Paisley. Jessica and her wife, Emma, enjoy paddle-boarding and hiking in the Pacific Northwest.
