The Emmick family has been serving local families for decades, with deep roots in West Seattle. Craig, Gayle, and their two children, Matthew and Michael were raised in White Center/Burien. Craig has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer for over 40 years. He has worked at both Seattle and West Seattle-area funeral homes for almost all of his career. Michael feels blessed to have seen his father's compassion as a child. Inspired by his father, he began his funeral business over a decade ago. Michael went on an apprenticeship and got a mortuary science degree at Pima Medical Institute. In 2014, he became a licensed funeral director and embalmer. At the start of 2018, Desiree joined the Emmick Family. Desiree was previously a funeral director for another respected establishment. She has offered families a wealth of creative insight and technical knowledge due to many years as a funeral director and shared desire to help others. Our services are different from other cremation and funeral service providers. Our licensed providers focus on burial and cremation services. We don't have to sell like traditional cemeteries and funeral homes. This includes big funeral homes with chapels and viewing rooms. We save money to pass on to our families. Our office is centrally located in between the Admiral District, Alaska Junction, and can help you organize cremation, burial, and aqua cremation.
