In 2009, I started GlimmerGlass Photo, now GlimmerGlass Portrait Studio. I founded this business because I was a photojournalist who couldn't wait to help people make beautiful portraits for themselves and their families. So, I designed portrait sessions for weddings and other gatherings that let people be themselves and connect with one another. My current portfolio includes weddings, newborns, maternity and family, and senior portraits. I started this business because I hated taking pictures of myself, and I wanted to help everyone else find a portrait they love as much as they hate being photographed. You don't have to hate being photographed. I will help you make a portrait you love, and you will enjoy the experience! Welcome to GlimmerGlass Photo – GlimmerGlass Portrait Studio! Our mission is to provide exceptional services from the planning of your session through to the delivery of your final portrait products. Starting with a consultation, I will organize your session, plan what to wear and how to style your hair and makeup. Then, we'll create your favorite poses by strategically placing you around the room. On the day of your appointment, we will adjust the schedule if needed, give you clear directions as we shoot, and help you get comfortable in front of the camera. Newborn portrait session I love coming to your home and capturing stylized images of your baby! Three months before your due date, book your session and we'll plan out the background and props we'll use for your baby. This session lasts up to three hours, allowing plenty of time for cuddling and feeding. Your baby should be at least two weeks old, and the area we shoot in should be around 72 degrees so your baby will be comfortable.
