About this business

Changing the World One Smile at a Time I love when I capture a smile. The moment when your subject's eyes sparkle, and their chuckle can no longer be contained. When they talk about something they’re truly passionate about and I catch that spark in their eyes, there’s a certain magic that happens. This magic is why I was drawn to photography and art school in the first place.  Allergy to art school You would think that I always loved food, but I wasn't an adventurous eater. It wasn't until I was 24 that I discovered I have food allergies. I started learning more about food and its ingredients. I couldn't resist reheating. When I discovered that I should cook to eat more things, I got on it right away. I started food photography because I loved cultural food preparation and wanted to capture it. Controlled or what goes! With food photography, you need to be a true perfectionist. I am extremely detail-oriented in my work, but I didn’t realize this was a real job. Well, they are taken in controlled environments, from the lighting to the angle right down to the food on the table. Every color and element in the shot is chosen with purpose. Objects stay still and follow directions. Until you work with people, they do not talk back! People are layers, and each subject can be its own universe. Humans are emotional and expressive, and they can talk back. Helping people feel comfortable in front of the camera is key to the images I create. I don’t care what your face looks like, but I strive for real moments. In my creative bag Creating a successful shoot is all about collaboration. I work closely with my clients to understand their unique needs and provide creative solutions. My team approaches each photoshoot as a team effort. I have a hand-picked team of stylists, assistants, and other professionals who all bring something special to the creative process. Our team exudes professionalism and can plan a successful shoot, but we all live for that unpredictable magic that happens on set. Collaboration allows us to create unexpected images that make an impact. Let's work together to make some magic happen.
