About this business

Welcome to Pacific Reign Gymnastics, where we offer the top gymnastics instruction for infants through high school and competitive teams. Get full programs for recreational and competitive gymnastics, Waves and Rainbow (TM) Gymnastics Programs, Ninja and Tumbling classes, adult classes and more. You can discover seasonal camps, parties, private parties and groupings, birthdays, and parents' night out. In April 2022, we rebranded the gym as Ascend Gymnastics Woodinville. Our classes are: Tiny Waves (Ages 1-2) – 45 minutes with a parent. This class is for 1-2-year-olds along with their parent(s). Tiny Waves is an opportunity for infants to engage in early physical fitness and the promoting of their personalities, both mentally and socially. You can make an enjoyably interactive experience with the help of music, games, and props for kids and their parents. Mini Waves (Ages 3) – 45 minutes. For this age, children must be able to play alone and interact with others; this is the ideal setting for this class. Furthermore, Mini Waves serves to improve physical fitness and provide cognitive distortions and fine motor skills. Mini Waves will focus on building strength, agility, and fundamental gymnastics skills in addition to learning ways to approach social and behavioral challenges such as paying attention and following rules. This 45-minute class is delivered across multiple circuits with age-appropriate materials in our preschool-friendly room.

My daughter (5 Yrs. old) was enrolled in Ninja class (instructor Trace Coyne). During the last class, I saw my daughter was saying/asking something to the instructor (not audible) and the instructor pushed her - it wasn't a good push, it appeared very offensive. I didn't say anything to the instructor and waited for the class to be over to ask my daughter about what happened. She mentioned he pushed her because she was not getting off of him and said something along the line of "get off of me". She is a 5 yrs old and kids this age tend to get close to their teachers for hugs or requests or anything. Even if she was breaking space boundary, an instructor cannot push a kid like this. My daughter was worried that if we talk to her instructor/management, he won't let him join the class anymore. My worry was that this incident only means I need to watch her the entire 45 mins to make sure she is safe or treated nicely in her class! Any parent should feel safe and comfortable leaving children behind in a class! I asked the front-desk for the owner/manager's information. I emailed him (Owen Sun) to ask whether to email or call to discuss something - he responded immediately that email is a good place to start. I responded back with what happened. I was expecting some acknowledgment that he will look into it or take some step to understand the next thing to do. No response to my second email whatsoever. This is so unprofessional! I am leaving the review for awareness!
