About this business
Raised in Detroit and the youngest of three with two brothers, Cheryl was almost an only child. She found a kitten at the car wash on her return from kindergarten and convinced her family to let her keep it. Cheryl was determined to become a vet for the rest of her life at this point. After several years of studying and working, she graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1992. Reaching this goal was a blessing, but it did not stop her from pursuing innumerable others. She has now been practicing veterinary medicine for over twenty-five years in Michigan, Alaska and Seattle. She seeks to make a significant impact on the lives of pets and families by providing high-quality veterinary medicine with a personal touch and being a strong advocate for animals. Annie, her business partner, gained experience over the years by volunteering at several clinics around Seattle. These experiences have reinforced her belief in the power of trust and the importance of building relationships between owners and patients to make them look forward to going to the veterinarian. Cheryl lives in the burbs with Carl, her husband, and their two cats, Nugget (AKA Mister) and Baby Kitty. She enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and snowboarding, as well as freezer jam in her free time. In fact, she's climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, had a pet porcupine neutered, and made freezer jam. These accomplishments occurred on separate occasions.
Reviews Summary
Reviews are universally praise the Roosevelt Station Vet Clinic and its staff for its friendly, professional, caring and service minded team. The clinic is well known in the neighborhood and the existing customers recommend it to new clients. There is consensus between the good experience here as a first time customer, the vet is skilled and goes above and beyond to treat the pet and it's owner with a lot of respect. There are clear successes of the sick or anxious pets having a positive experience from the staff and the clinic. There are many positive reviews from the doctors, but there are no negativeheritages of errors or poor care. One first time dog owner was impressed by the technology available at the clinic while another gingerly introduced their kitty Chai, who was scared of strangers. Chai was so happy that was given props when they uploaded a picture of the vets taking a good care of her online. Communication is more two way between the clinic and the clients. Before many clients, the clinic was the first choice and one client literally describes their service as being on another level. They gave a detailed diagnosis and answers to all their questions. The positive reviews outweigh the negative reviews by far and all the testimonials show that this is a veterinary clinic that is kind to their clients as well as the pets.
