For thirteen years, she was an administrative assistant before opening a massage therapy business in 2013. Melissa started working with a chiropractor to gain experience. She has certifications in medical, hot stone and deep tissue massage. She enjoys quality time with her husband, 2 dogs, and cat when she is not working. Her two college-age sons live nearby and frequently visit. She does CrossFit workouts at home, and her patients are individuals in pain who are immobilized due to this physical activity. This enables her to understand how muscles respond to physical exertion, and massages can help alleviate muscle pain after exercising.
