Clark County Target Zero Traffic Safety Taskforce Grants Business Leadership Excellence Award to Nicole Bisconer at Night of a Thousand Stars, Dec 10, 2010 For its continued support of Driving 101 including volunteer projects, traffic safety policies, and laws enforcement within the local community, the Clark County Target Zero Traffic Safety Taskforce honored Bisconer with its Business Leadership Excellence Award at Night of a Thousand Stars in 2010. DRVN 101 has strived to teach teen learners about the risks and responsibilities of driving since 2006. In addition to its driving school activities, Bisconer has been active in her local community by partnering with local businesses, law enforcement, and schools. She has also organized and taken part in safety fairs to educate the public about the dangers of drunk or dangerous driving. The Night of a Thousand Stars, which is intended to honor the friends and families whose lives were irreparably changed by an impaired motorist, is hosted by the Clark County Target Zero Taskforce. The taskforce is credited to the Clark County Sheriff’s Office, Vancouver Police Department, Camas Police Department, Washougal Police Department, Ridgefield Police Department, La Center Police Department, WSU Vancouver, and Washington State Patrol’s Commercial Vehicle Division. The idea behind the taskforce is to eliminate all fatalities, severe injuries, and crashes caused by drunk drivers by 2030.
