Reid Law Company provides counsel to firms in the Northwest on energy, environmental, and utility matters. Michael served as in-house counsel to PacifiCorp and began his solo practice with a focus on his preceding role's regulatory aspects. He handled FERC regulatory matters linked to the merchant function, concentrating primarily on standards of conduct, EQR, and OATT filings in his prior position. He has over twenty years of experience with PacifiCorp, during which he also dealt with significant state regulatory issues, including preparing rate cases in general for several of the six states in which the business was situated.
