About this business
Vancouver Defenders Customer Reviews:
“My Defense Attorney did not care and took the Plea Deal when I was innocent.” (1 Star)
Matthew Swisher was a great attorney! He took care of my case in a timely matter and was very reassuring about everything. I had never gone through anything like this before so it was nice to have someone make you feel comfortable and like a human during this process!!! I would recommend him as a public defender for anyone who is going through this experience as well. Kind, intelligent and caring individual! (5 Stars)
His attorney was Amber Cognata and she was absolutely amazing. She communicated thoroughly and was always respectful. She always knew what was going on with my case, and kept me informed at all times. (5 Stars)
I've had to Recently go to court and me not having clue on what any of what the judge says even means but I've been lucky enough to be defended by Vancouver defenders Kathrine Azarkh she has help make this as smooth as possible she's kept in touch with me since our first meeting she's been nothing but the best and continue to look forward to working with her (5 Stars)
Not the most impressed with these guys.they are very inattentive whenever I try to get ahold of them. They should answer calls open to close but I can never get an answer past 4pm. (3 Stars)
Terrible service. They shouldn't be allowed to be public defenders. They do not care about the people they represent. There should be some standard. ... also, when Sonja answers the phone, it sounds like you ruined her day every time. She needs to get some lessons on customer service or at least human decency (1 Star)
If I could give negative 10 stars I definitely would! These guys are a joke! Public pretenders . They don't work for you they work against you!!!! My advice to anyone who is thinking about getting represented by these clowns or already are .....run as fast as you can and find someone else!!!!! Working with these guys you are working against the freedom! Guilty or not.....you are getting it.....no matter what (1 Star)
My attorney Liz seemed to genuinely care and I could tell she was really trying to make this right. I was a anxious mess and she was kind and reassuring. The reviews definitely scared me when I looked up this place, but I just know I had the best lawyer I could've asked for. they're definitely not "working with the state" (5 Stars)
