Client Testimonials: Fight for your rights with Yakima's premier attorneys at 2nd Street Law PLLC. 1. Amazing representation by Ulvar!2. I hired Ulvar Klein knowing he wasn't the right attorney for my specific case, but he was the only one who would even take it. After getting pulled into the criminal system unfairly, I had contacted over 50 attorneys. However, no one would represent me. Family lawyers and civil attorneys didn't want to deal with it. Ulvar was the only one willing to take the case. But when he learned who he was up against, he decided to stop actively helping. Rather than fighting for me, he failed to prepare, stopped advocating, and left me defenseless. Klein never even filed his official appearance with the court, which a court supervisor later told me was highly unusual. Although he admitted to me that I was being "gamed" by the legal system, he wouldn’t tell me how or why. When I asked him to review the body camera footage that was crucial to my defense, he refused, claiming that it wouldn’t be used in court. It was, and he had no defense to offer because he had never prepared one. As my case progressed, the paperwork filed through his office would disappear. His legal assistant, who had decades of experience in the field, told me she had never seen it happen before. My pro se filings? They were filed on time and recorded in the record, as I personally delivered them to the clerk's office. In court, he instructed me not to speak, yet he didn't fight for me in any way. He didn’t challenge the opposing attorney, didn’t offer key evidence that would have helped me, and didn’t object when procedure was violated. It was as if he had already resigned the case before it even began. While on the other hand, the opposing attorney, Tonilynn Savage, was running the show. This seems it was never about justice, it was about control, and it was decided before I even walked in the court. This was all based on hearsay. My case was lost as a result of Ulvar’s failure to act. I was compelled to accept a protection order against me while I was under duress. However, I was the true victim of stalking and legal harassment, which the other party openly admitted to the judge. After the hearing, I confronted Ulvar about his lack of representation, and instead of accepting it, he terminated his involvement. He even refused my $3,000 payment, which confirmed my suspicions even further. 4. Ronin was upfront, honest and worked hard! I've worked with her and a friend has experience with Ulvar. I would recommend both of them, especially after this.
