Dr. Daniel J. Winn is a private dentist who has been in practice since 2008. He became a private dentist in Chippewa Falls in July 2012 by purchasing the practice of Dr. John Look. Prior to moving to Chippewa Falls, he worked in Elroy, WI, and founded a satellite clinic in Necedah, WI. Dr. Winn was born in Monticello. He went on to earn a bachelor's degree in biology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Marquette University, becoming a third-generation dentist from the Winn family. He graduated from dental school and was honored with the Senior Dental Award from the Academy and Faculty of General Dentistry recognizing his "greatest interests, knowledge and proficiency" in his final year of Dental School. He has a dental mission to Mexico, where he has visited Oaxaca and Puebla orphanages. He is committed to the Wisconsin Dental Association (WDA), including the Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile Day as part of the WDA Foundation Board. He was also appointed to the WDA Peer Review Panel at the WI level to secure and improve the oral health of the Wisconsin population.
