A number of years ago, I was an IT systems administrator/software support person. I loved helping people solve their computer problems. However, it was stressful. My breast cancer grew as a result of all the stress. In November 2011, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. In Nov 2011, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I have had three surgeries since then and am currently free from the disease. Having undiagnosed cancer for years, my surgeries and radiation treatments, as well as anti-cancer medications made it almost impossible to have children.
After having two wonderful children, and then giving birth to another miracle baby, I knew I needed to find a job that wasn't as stressful. After having two children and giving birth to a miracle child, I realized that I needed to pursue a college degree in photography. This would allow me to live the life of my dreams, which is low-stress, creative, with my family.
After a lot of hard work and dedication, I built my studio in the backyard of my house with two assistants who help me focus on photography while also running the business. I am able to get so focused on a shoot that I will leave behind all my equipment in order for me to capture the perfect moment. My amazing team will help me do it. I'm just like my children.
Photographing family, events and weddings is what I do.
