Jackie Nitschke Center

Jackie Nitschke Center has been providing lifesaving help and healing for families and individuals dealing with mental and substance abuse disorders since 1973. Our mission is to enable families to overcome such problems and become even more resilient and able to look after themselves. Addiction is a sophisticated medical condition. The primary step to manage addiction is to find the appropriate treatment. Each client varies and is thus offered a unique and evidence-based therapy. The Centre makes sure that everyone is accepted in a comfortable and supportive environment. Many people use treatment programs, but no client is the same. We believe that letting clients heal for a long time and providing a low customer-service professional ratio can improve aftercare and recovery. We are also increasingly aware that numerous studies have shown that continuing care is vital for long-term recovery. Jackie's Legacy Financial Assistance Program was launched to ensure that treatment is available to everyone (Jackie Nitschke Center, n.d.).
