Jon Hovda has over 25 years of experience coaching gymnastics. Jon Hovda has trained national, state, and regional champions. Many of these champions have gone to college. Jon also served as an assistant coach for the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh Gymnastics Team. Jon has also been an 8-year waterskiing professional and a 13-year skiing instructor and coach. He has traveled the world as a water skier, visiting Germany, Holland, Brazil, Japan, and the U.S., including California, Indiana, Ohio, and Wisconsin Dells. In Japan and South Dakota, Jon is an accredited skiing instructor. All athletes will excel in the class structure. It offers a secure and enjoyable atmosphere that promotes coordination and motor skills. Our gymnastics facility is state-of-the-art and teaches basic gymnastics skills. In addition, we have gymnastics equipment such as vault, bars beam, floor, and trampoline. This equipment is designed to increase strength, coordination, flexibility, and balance. Team members will learn to listen attentively and focus on the task. Competitive gymnastics also helps build mutual respect for others.
