Introduce toddlers and infant to the aquatic environment. Each lesson will be taken by a parent. Water Discovery sessions are intended to help build the relationship between parent and child while helping to establish some basic water movement and safety. For toddlers who do not have to be supervised by their parents and want to explore the water independently, Water Explorations is a good class (Stevens Point Area YMCA, 2022). The course is a great option for preschool children who are not yet willing to learn how to swim. Any age and capacity can sign up for private swim lessons. Participants learn how to swim based on the goals and capabilities. All participants learn water safety. Lessons are 30 minutes long. Participants need to bring their receipts to confirm payment. The lesson must be taken within one year of buying. At the YMCA Member Service Desk, sign up for private lessons. A waitlist will be generated, and after two months, an Aquatic staff member will call you to arrange a good time (Stevens Point Area YMCA, 2022). It would take more time if the availability is not there. Semi-Private lessons can be organized for up to two people, but they should be of the same level. Each of the two people gets 30 minutes of swimming lessons at the pool.

Standard gym and services notwithstanding, the YMCA's USPs are friendly staff and excellent community involvement.
