I reached out to Joe regarding a step parent adoption and termination of parental rights and thought everything was going to be a complete mess and pain. After a 30-minute consultation, he managed to calm me down and ease my worries. He was very professional in that he didn't give me any false hope but the facts on how things would proceed and what it may look like in the event things go sideways. There was no unnecessary communication just to rack up a bill. If I had to do it all over again I would absolutely make the same decision to have Joe on my side. 3. Joe Skemp has been a lot of empty promises. He has even threatened to withdraw from my case multiple times telling me that my case was on his back burner. Here is a list of things Joe has done wrong: - He does not advocate for his client. - He bills for work he hasn’t done. - He is afraid of other attorneys and won't bring up his OWN client concerns. -His paralegals are unprofessional and will laugh at you when you make requests. FOR YOUR FAMILIES SAKE DO NOT PICK THIS GUY 4. I highly recommend Jalen Zubich Attorney. He was a great and supportive advocate for me during my civil ligation process. He is also very knowledgeable. He actively listened to my concerns, questions, and requests. He respected my communication preferences, and further responded as requested promptly and professionally.
