Westport Pet Memorial

West of Highway 11 and just north of Kennedy Drive lies peaceful space, complete with towering oak trees, a trickling creek, and tranquil pasture land. The five-acre Westport Pet Memorial has been dedicated to pets since 1982. You can gather your thoughts there, and it will even honor the furry members of your family. Sue Porter started this pet cemetery in Dane County, as it had none. In many parts of the country, pet cemeteries are a norm, but not in places like here. Families from Wisconsin come to Westport Pet Memorial with many pets with fur and feathers. Westport Pet Memorial is a resting place for the heroes of the local police K-9 and sheriff K-9 Units. We will help you with your pet until the day of its burial.   ur Animals Burial Service Directly below is our burial availability. If your pet dies outside the expected period of late spring through late fall, we will keep it for free until the next planned burial date. We will also be pleased if you would prefer to bury your departed at another time’s convenience.   It is possible to prepare for your pet's farewell upon picking up its remains from your home or vet clinic. You do not need to be in Madison, Wisconsin, the Dane County-based crematory or animal burial center.
