DreamBikes Milwaukee's Mission: DreamBikes is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit. They place their bike shops in disadvantaged communities to provide paid on-the-job training for teens. DreamBikes partners with local youth organizations and hires teenagers to work in the store. They teach them how to fix bikes, use the POS system, and give excellent customer care. Our teen employees receive these skills at DreamBikes. These young people are gaining skills that will last a lifetime and allow them to succeed in the future. DreamBikes is a complete service used bike store. We buy, sell, and repair bikes. We accept used parts and equipment, as well as gently used bikes. Our DreamBikes Teens refurbish the bikes and sell them back to the neighborhood at reasonable prices. DreamBikes is involved in the community, hosting and participating in community events. This contributes to happy, healthy urban areas with empowered, safe citizens.
