Heather Cook Elliott Photography

I founded Heather Cook Elliott Photography to photograph families and weddings and eventually included My Kind of People in my studio. These individuals are in love with each other. Sara is an artist historian and a newlywed. Her large family's love is infectious. You'll be able to call Emily your sister in five minutes. We all love architecture, pattern, and texture. We don't particularly care for weddings or families, or following trends. We don't want any pretense. Instead, we enjoy the day as it happens. Heather and I were alone in the darkroom developing and printing things by hand. I kept insisting on exploring the globe to meet people and get more sunlight. Italy, where I studied, wasn't enough. I rode camels and a Vespa, was on safari, hiked South America, and listened to the desert drums in Morocco. The most critical thing I found there was love. I was very happy, and my soulmate and I took cameras and my heart started to grow.
