Our history dates back to the early 20th Century. The origin of the law firm was Glicksman & Gold. This firm evolved into Gold & McCann. We primarily handle cases where parties file for divorce through the courts. These cases are brought by our clients, or we could represent the client who has been served with a summons for divorce or are brought by the parties together. Unless the parties are in agreement, we cannot represent both parties to a divorce. Contested divorce cases are cases in which the parties do not agree on some issues, such as property division, support, or custody. In contrast, uncontested cases involve filing a Marital Settlement Agreement and all necessary documents.
