Client Testimonials Roth & Basler SC Reviews and feedback from clients help prospective clients to choose the best legal representation for their cases. Given below are testimonials written by clients who have dealt with Roth & Basler SC. Customer feedback summary: 1. I don’t always leave a review, but I feel like I need to leave one today because I was really disappointed with the consultation I observed. The consultation rate was $40 an hour, which seemed reasonable. We arrived on time, and the lawyer arrived around three minutes late. Normally, those three minutes would not be a big deal. But the consultation itself was very disappointing. The whole meeting was about 15 minutes. In that time, there was very little effort to try and understand the situation or ask any meaningful questions. Instead, the conversation felt rushed from the beginning. The lawyer should have taken some time to listen, explain the legal process, and go through some possible options. Many people come to a lawyer’s office feeling stressed, confused, and not knowing where to start. A consultation should at least give someone a little clarity and direction. But that did not happen here. In a very short time, the conversation moved straight to the lawyer quoting a legal fee of $10,000 with no explanation or real discussion before that. I understand that legal services can be very expensive, and lawyers need to be paid for their work. But if someone pays for a consultation, there should be some effort made to listen, explain, and show the client where they are and what is happening. Fifteen minutes didn’t seem like enough time for a proper consultation, especially given how rushed it felt. What bothered me most about this experience was the lack of common courtesy and empathy. People usually come for legal advice when they are already going through a very stressful, difficult, and potentially life-changing situation. They are looking for help and understanding their rights and options. This took place in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. It left me feeling discouraged. It felt like a quick transaction and not a sincere attempt to help someone understand their legal situation. I have seen lawyers take the time to explain things clearly and help people understand their options and what to do and not to do before they really discuss a big legal fee. That kind of professionalism and care can make a huge difference for someone already struggling. People who seek legal help are often in a vulnerable position. But at least during a consultation, they deserve patience and respect for their situation.
