Weld Riley, S.C. Customer Testimonials: Feedback Summary: 1. Wasn’t too happy. Had Evan Mayer. He was nice and helpful at first but after I paid the retainer it seemed like he really didn’t care. He made me feel stupid most of the time. I didn’t go to law school; how was I supposed to know? That’s why I paid him, to explain, not belittle. His legal assistant is a gem but she knew someone in common with the other party and kept confusing the two. Lots of misspellings and misunderstandings by the lawyer and his assistant on documents. I had to keep fixing the spelling of my name, and the other parties actual name. When we went to court, he didn’t seem to fight for me, he seemed very chummy with the judge and just said yes to everything she said. Didn’t seem fair. I’m glad my son’s father and I sorted right away, I didn’t have much faith in this going any further. Afterward I had a refund coming back and I had to remind them, they probably wouldn’t have sent it because it was way past the 30 days they said. Will not return. Hopefully new clients get better treatment.2. Evan was so helpful in guiding us through the estate planning process. Professional yet approachable and down to earth. Much appreciated3.
