I met with Abe and Hoyt in April 2024 regarding a malicious assault I sustained by drunken off duty Huntington Police Corporal Daniel Mulvaney, followed by a wrongful arrest for Disorderly and Obstruction. All my charges were immediately dismissed. And it’s all on video. Abe collected my video evidence. Later, I filed a FOIA request with the city and received 2 flash drives of falsified documents and videos exonerating me. Abe collected that evidence as well. Every time I called Abe, I had to leave a message. I also sent Abe emails asking for updates. On the date the statute of limitations expired, Abe emailed me to tell me he couldn’t help me. Abe sat on my evidence for over 10 months. Abe didn’t help me, and Abe made sure no one else could either. If Abe would have told me the truth from the beginning, that he couldn’t help me, I would not have handed over all of the video evidence and FOIA documents. I would have found another attorney to help. I believe Abe took advantage of my disability and vulnerability to exhaust the statute of limitations on my case. I would give zero stars if possible. Playing with a victim’s life is nasty work. Edited to respond to Abe: Everything I stated is true and factual. I’m entitled to my opinion and you’re entitled to yours. If you think I defamed you, sue me. We spoke to Hoyt on the phone about an employment situation, and he was outstanding!! He was, of course, very knowledgeable, and gave us excellent advice.
