Customer feedback summary: I am terrified about this firm and my family having to come in contact with them and you should be too. This is something I feel needs to be heard because it was the most repulsive thing I have seen in my 50 years. My witness was a young man who put his trust in Bill Richardson to help keep his 3-year-old daughter (my granddaughter) safe from a lousy home with her negligent, reckless mother. In my conversations with Bill, he was very combative. One of those combative types that ask you questions they don't let you answer. I could go deeper into this, but I will skip to the part that made me write this review. The father who I was a witness for received a verdict I did not expect, and after reading the verdict details, I was sitting next to him, and he called Bill Richardson back who was in the hospital and did the whole case over the phone. This young man was devastated. I could feel his pain. My heart was aching so much for him. Bill made him aware he could appeal the verdict but then started bashing this poor 22-year-old who put his hard-earned money and faith into Bill's ability. Bill started telling him that he did not think he wanted him as a client anymore as Bill said "your not a good client, you are not very smart, you do not listen, and you don't really pay attention to anything you read". Finally after two full minutes belittling and bashing him, the magic words came out..........."If you need me to represent you again its going to take at least $5,000 for me to want to work with you again!!!!". I heard it on speaker phone with my own ears, and I was absolutely repulsed by that. I happen to know this kid, he is NOT stupid, he is NOT an idiot, he is a good kid who does not understand the way law works since he is not a trouble maker who has ever had to deal with court. The world I grew up in, not knowing the law meant you did not have to face issues because you were a good kid. NOT vice versa, and correct me if I am wrong, but isn't that why you hire a lawyer? To explain all of this too you? This was the most disgusting thing I have ever witnessed. You have to put yourself in this young man's shoes.....He was already crushed and hurting from the verdict, and after all of this pain you have a lawyer that you paid for (who should be telling you everything is going to be ok) just absolutely crushing this poor father who is just trying to figure out what he is going to do to keep his daughter safe since his lawyer failed to do so. Absolutely disgusting, and I am just not sure who this lawyer thinks he is that he is better than everyone, better than the poor young man he was supposed to help. I have read the reviews and saw others who mentioned how rude he is, and I personally think a lawyer like this who has no morals, no heart, and can act that inhumane to his own client should be disbarred from practicing the law. However, realistically I know there are many like him and that is what is wrong with our judicial system. I just want to know how do you take a defeated human being, knowing they are hurting and drive their face into the ground, and sleep like a baby at night? I will never forget this and I hope that if you are a lawyer reading this you will reconsider your way of treating people and maybe take a look at your reviews, maybe you should try following the laws that are in place that are supposed to protect the citizens who come to you for help! Of course, if you are a firm and do not want this review on your page, then maybe you should consider your attitudes as a firm, because I cannot claim to know you all, but after experiencing this inhumane act from your lead attorney I hope that you at least take it into consideration.
