Our hope is that as each dancer grows technically, they would also grow personally, emotionally, and spiritually through mentorship and accountability.

Cashel Academy can trace its Milwaukee roots back to the Irish Cultural Heritage Center, located in downtown Milwaukee in 1982. Cashel Academy can trace its Milwaukee roots back to the Irish Cultural Heritage Center, located in downtown Milwaukee in 1982. The teachers of Cashel Academy have been selected from the student body to train future generations of dancers. Laura began working at Cashel Academy in 1991 as an assistant teacher alongside Mr. Dennehy. She continued teaching in Milwaukee after receiving her TCRG. In 1995 she also opened a Cashel Academy branch in Door County WI (formerly Scoil Roe Dennehy). For 10 years she was a teacher in Door County WI while she attended medical school in Chicago, residency, and fellowship. She moved to Milwaukee in 2005 to take on the role of Director of Sports Medicine for the St. Joseph Family Medicine residency program. Her love for dance medicine continues as she works with Milwaukee Ballet and a local Irish dance school. Laura is a teacher of beginners to Championship levels. She has a particular interest in training our dance teams, as well as upper-level dancers, for Regional, National, and World competitions.

The group offers community based urban line dance programs in addition to individual lessons, corporate workshops/demonstrations, and private events. MBSD is a line dance group that performs in community events, festivals, parties, and celebrations to spread the message about how line dancing can improve overall health. Nzinga Khalid founded Mind, Body & Soul Dancers as a 501c3 not-for-profit organization in August 2010. The group is made up of individuals with civic-minded values who support, believe, and are committed to the mission. Mind Body & Soul Dancers' mission is to help youth and adults express their negative emotions in a positive way by using urban line dance. Secondary goals include teaching adults and children to make healthier food choices, to have fun while exercising, and to use line dancing to relieve stress.

On Your Toes, Dance Studio opened in 1996. The classes are kept small to ensure that each student receives the attention they need to learn proper dancing techniques. Join us to provide your child with a unique dance experience. Your child can gain self-confidence and improve their coordination and cooperation skills by participating in the dance program. On Your Toes, Dance Studio provides ballet and beginner tap classes, as well as private lessons to the Greater Milwaukee Area. Join us to provide your child with a unique dance experience. Your child can gain self-confidence and improve their coordination and cooperation skills by participating in the ballet/tap class. Studio facilities include a dance area with mirrors, and an extra-cushioned flooring to help absorb the impact of our jumps and leaps. The upper and lower waiting rooms are available for families to wait. Both levels have restrooms. Open Houses are scheduled to allow parents the opportunity to view typical classes.
