I was dealing with a lawyer from this firm named Fiona Goodie and when I told her that I wouldn't be able to hold my composer in court she basically brushed it off like I was lying because the court would be very bad for me. In my previous response I mentioned that I had a disorder that meant I couldn't regulate my emotions or control my behaviour when a situation stressed me too much and I'm pretty sure that the court would do that to me because if it was a polite courtroom then why is it called a court of law?. I was making it very clear that I was genuinely worried I'd be found in contempt of the court or proceedings and would end up in court-ordered custody for an unknown amount of time. And I told her that I knew that contempt works differently in Aus than it does in the USA. However she told me that she didn't know how the contempt of court laws worked & after that I immediately knew that she couldn't be right because no lawyer gets through law school without learning how they and their clients can & can't behave in a court of law. Because what would have been misplaced on her when I actually asked the question she is obligated by law to at least attempt to answer it for me. That constitutes what I believe to be a direct violation of their professional principles & standards that lawyers are supposed to follow because lawyers in Australia have a sworn duty to not only uphold the law but also to defend a client to the best of their ability & by not assisting or even trying to explain to me her higher understanding then what was i actually paying her for?. Then after that she offered no other assistance or strategies to help me with my legal claim. Needless to say I fired her immediately when as an Australian certified lawyer she either didn't know or pretended not to know contempt law. Like a fine wine this comment matures with age. The longer it's here the more obvious it is that this law firm couldn't prove defamation so i guess if they are not willing to take me to court because I hold the truth then this review will continue to remain posted. If it's 1 month old they already threaten me with defamation. If it's 3 months old they didn't have a case! Just an update, how this lawyer FIONA GOODIE has convinced vicpol to place an interim intervention order on me as a means to gag me and suppress me from adding to this review but because of a legal loophole where I found out before being served I'm currently still free to add this development to the review. Shame on you fiona goodie, shame!. Always had alot going on in the background, but kept me updated as needed. Thanks Guys Wasn't so sure about Cameron when we first met, but I had been given a good recommendation by someone I trusted. Everything was explained to me, then as we got to each step it was explained again. Nothing was too much trouble & when I wouldn't be helped by the insurance company a phone call from Fortitude would quickly have it sorted. Fortitude Legal could not have done better with my claim, they really put the effort & fight in for me. From my first conversation with Cameron, and then Fiona (& their staff Jenni & Ashlee) I have felt heard, understood & informed.
