Young & Young Review Here are some highlights from the customer feedback summary: Quick thanks to Megan Legal Secretary, then in person Michael (Senior Associate) Thursday just gone. All 'cases' are different, although Michael was unable to take on my specific case, at least he gave me a little bit of advice. Workers Compensation is indeed a difficult landscape to navigate as the injured person... and ALL parties involved. When a local guy wouldn't sell me back my $2000 Gretsch guitar as promised they gave me very good advice on the phone on how to do legal proceedings. Always helpful, even though not always paying for advice. Michael is unbelievably knowledgeable and helpful. Young and Young has been accessible whenever I’ve needed help or advice. The administration is effective and efficient. Highly recommend this business. Very professional Sent me to legal aid after I told him Slater Gordon stole my money and helped the government with a scandal to switch my identity in my insurance file. Legal aid refused to help. Lucky for me they put my payout under someone else's tax statement so the tax department are investigating and lucky for there's an organisation that investigates the omni who I've touched base with. The government are extremely corrupt. They have stolen heaps of money from me and my creative work including my Opal ring creation. Australian's have no right to Steel my work. It's not a game to me. My creative work sold for million and the government pocketed every cent Very efficient and professional Appalling Worst lawyers ever!! We have to get a lawyer to sort this company out! Deceased on Oct 30 no communication from lawyer following family informing them of deceased. Family paid out all accounts no property owned. Was told probate was lodged in December just found out it has not been lodged at all!!!! It cost the family money to find that out as lawyers refuse to answer calls. 5 months on still no communication or resolve. if I could give a negative star result it would be negative 10 stars. I and some family have had the very, very, unfortunate experience of dealing with Young and Young. if you absolutely have NO other choice but to use Young & Yong ask for >Michael Devlin : He was absolutely amazing, in my opinion, went above and beyond he was always happy to take or make a call, would call email, and text regularly, and provided updates where possible. When I raised the concerns that, I along with other beneficiary's of the estate were having with other staff at the firm he was extremely empathetic & apologized for their unprofessional behaviour. in relation to what is supposed to be a simple estate matter. 16+ months have passed, over $10k+ and still counting and no closer to an end in sight. they do NOT communicate, or respond to emails or simple phone calls. They can't - won't justify expenses. and when information and documents when offered implicating the executor of the estate in multiple Froude's they flat out refused to even look at the evidence, all of which was gained lawfully threw FOI application > Lisa Young: the owner was extremely arrogant condescending and disrespectful when talking about her own staff and clients alike, by her own admission she knows little to nothing about estate law however bills time with no explanation $10k+ >Lindsay Ferguson: (paralegal) the go-between - covers for Marilyn constantly makes excuses, Drafts emails on behalf of Marilyn and emails as if they have been written by Marilyn >Marilyn Buttaccio: the appointed lawyer dealing with the estate matter- is either deaf, can't read, is straight out arrogant and/or ignorant, alternatively is on holiday , sick, or in a meeting. in a 16+month period in excess of 30 phone calls 20+ emails and not one response. little to NO communication among the beneficiary and will not share information pertaining to the matter at hand. DONT waist your time or money........ Would not recommend them at all. I have lost all respect for what was once a great law firm. Unless you are bringing in a lot of money for them they dont care anymore Young and Young managed to settle a difficult business deal very satisfactorily. There was so much extra that went into this project that without Sabrina and Jasmin we would probably still be waiting to settle. Would recommend these ladies for any settlement Great Very family and helpful Very helpful, very kind. Good parking.
