Told it would be 2 hours, after waiting 2.5 hours with no communication from the staff, no updates around delays, I had to look for someone to tell me it would be another couple of hours before my dog could be seen! I No apology, no help to find other 24 hour vet service, so I left for Fish Creek vet. Be careful if you go this vet clinic and be prepared to wait.
We had a terrible experience at this hospital last year. My dog JoJo torn front left elbow ligament last September. We rushed him to this hospital at midnight. We are told the best option was to do surgery to repair. We were arranged to have surgery on the following week. The surgery was cancelled later. JoJo was arranged to do surgery with Dr. Pinel .After over a month waiting, Dr. Pinel did his surgery, and told me that JoJo would be fully recovered. However, after over a month, we went to change bandage and splint , no one explained to me that the results. After about 6 weeks, I decided to check his surgery on my own, when open his bandage, I was shocked to see a metal screw was exposed and poking through his elbow joint. I called the surgeon team , we were called, were told the surgery was a failure. We spent 4700 dollars, the results are the surgeon made more damage to his joint. I requested to remove all the infected screws. After the removing surgery, no one showed me x-ray, no one called us. ..... I was traumatized by this whole experience with this hospital and the surgery process. My dog is permanently damaged by this surgery. My dog JoJo is suffering from the holes from the surgery. My heart was broken to pieces. I will not recommend this hospital to anyone.
If only there were more stars! The level of emergency care at Alpine pet Hospital was extraordinary. I was fortunate enough to meet and receive the care of both doctors. Not only did they restore my dogs health quickly, but were compassionate and reasonably priced compared to other emergency pet facilities. I highly recommend Alpine pet hospital.
