Just to be precise those wage loss was already processed from ICBC so I would have paid Giusti anyways, even if I already provided those expenses. Anyways went to another lawyer and he kept my wage loss and money out of his 30% fee. 7. "I have to be honest that the impression was that he knows what he is doing but he has a big disadvantage that let turn away most or big part of new clients ,he does not distinguish big claims from small claim ,he tries to include in his big 30% fee also your work wage loss and the treatment money already paid from your pocket, just an example is that I missed 4 weeks work and I had 1500$ receipts already paid from my pocket that ICBC already processed so for Giusti it was normal the fact that only for going to hire him I had to give him 30% of "my"work wage loss money and the money paid for my treatment so 300$ for each 1000$ wage loss plus 450$ on the 1500$ receipts. Does it make any sense to me? No. No because lawyer should take the money only after having settled the injuries in the proper and fair way and not from work wage loss of average workers. Anyways, I went to another lawyer, and he was fair enough to keep out from the 30% fee my work wage loss and the money paid for my treatment. I think negotiating is the best thing to do but for Giusti a million-dollar claim is exactly the same as a 1000 $ dollar claim. I wish to everyone's, look!
