MC College Territories Acknowledgement Learn About Beauty Pivot Point's online continuing education platform is referred to as "Learn About Beauty." Students can access the platform to learn through videos, practice tests, interactive activities, and community with other students. MC College wishes to acknowledge with respect all unceded territory where our campuses are located. The Syilx Okanagan People are the original owners of the land where Kelowna is situated. Treaty 6 Territory is the traditional lands of the Edmonton and Saskatoon campuses. This territory is a meeting place for many Indigenous Peoples, including Cree and Saulteaux Niitsitapi Blackfoot, Metis and Nakota Sioux Peoples. Red Deer and Calgary campuses are located in Treaty 7 Territory. This land is the ancestral land of the Tsuut'ina First Nation and the Blackfoot Confederacy. The Metis Nation of Alberta Region 3 is located in Calgary. Treaty 1 Territory is the original land of many Indigenous people, including the Anishinaabeg Cree, Oji-Cree and Dakota. Additionally, it is the homeland of the Metis Nation (MC College, n.d.).
