Customer Feedback Summary Independent Installations - Windows and doors 1. Independent Installations - Windows and doors led by Ian did not meet my project's basic professional standards. Ian's communication was highly inappropriate and unprofessional, making interaction concerning. His communication was confrontational and offensive and did not promote a collaborative approach to resolving issues. This also raised concerns over the company's overall ethos, which the owner represents. The communication was off-putting, and there was no positivity towards a joint resolution. From the onset, this was a toxic interaction. Poor communication led to initial project delays. The company did not meet their contractual obligations; hence the project was behind schedule. Another contractor had to correct the substandard work performed by Independent Installations because it did not meet the requirements agreed upon. This misalignment was forced upon us since they could not meet the project's requirements. Despite discussions and clear communications, the deficiencies were never addressed. This led to more financial and time costs. The building's integrity was at stake because of this company's negligence to address the built-in deficiencies. I want clients to know about this abnormal company. Not meeting the professional requirements is shocking. From the late opening salvo, Ian's unprofessionalism included a communication style that was never going to work, it was always going to fail. His communication style undermined a collaborative approach to addressing building deficiencies. Find another company. Dillon 2. Lack of professionalism We have a new window, but it’s too dirty to see through. They did offer to come back and clean it but don’t follow through with scheduled appointments. 4. You gave me the run around in the worst way. Conflicting stories about when my window would be installed, and it was literally over a year after the initial measurement and payment. Maybe a single woman just looks like a mat to a person of this ilk. The windows themselves when they arrived were good, solid. Suddenly, Ian needs more than 1000 dollars before he finishes. And then, now, with a litany of excuses including injury and holiday and everything in between, he has not finished the job -- installed the screens. Emphatically I would just go elsewhere. 6.
